Century Walk Books Donated to the Public Library

Each Naperville Public Library facility has received a donated copy of Century Walk: Art Imitating History by Jini Leeds Clare This is a beautifully written and lavishly illustrated history of the unique public art project that has enriched the Naperville community. The book chronicles the history of the Century Walk, examines in loving detail the 35 works currently part of the project and provides insightful biographies of the artists The book also offers descriptions on some of the techniques used to produce the art works. The books are a generous donation from the Century Walk Corporation. In addition to reference copies, the Library now owns six copies of the book that are available for check-out.
