Caption Only.Hector Duarte applies some of the final brush strokes to the Century Walk mural that he and fellow artist Mariah de Forest have been working on for almost a year. Located on the east wall of the Lantern restaurant facing Washington Street, the collage depicts the evolution of transportation in Naperville, emphasizing train, water, automobile and airplane travel and such landmarks as the DuPage River, the Quincy Depot, Old Plank Road, the Washington Street wooden bridge and the Main Street stone bridge. The mural is expected to be completed this week.
