  • Plaque Text: The original mural was painted in September 1996. With changes and growth in the downtown area, the mural's home was changed from the Naperville Sun Building to its present location. During these two short years much change and growth has occurred. This version of the mural shows a more comprehensive, chronological journal of publishing in Naperville. It begins with 19th Century photo renditions of David Givler and James Nichols. The timeline journeys through photography, fonts, and tools of the trade while honoring Harold Moser and Harold and Eva White. It brings us to the present day denoted by the computer screen and brightly into the future with the shooting star.
